Two Road Dogs

About Us

LT & Trey

Greetings………and thanks for visiting!

Our names are LT and Trey and our journey began on Christmas Eve 2014 along the banks of Mississippi River just South of New Orleans. We’ve traveled often since that time but we never considered documenting our adventures until after the pandemic. With that unexpected event came a job layoffs and plenty of time to think. We realized “life was too short” to live in mediocracy. Once people were free to travel then they would travel like never before. Ourselves included!

Around this time we discovered the term “digital nomad”. It sprang up for office workers who suddenly found themselves working from home (and elsewhere). Having spent our lives in the event and transportation industries, it only seemed natural for us to become digital nomads and travel bloggers. While we have an affinity for concerts and music festivals, we also have a love of theaters, restaurants, museums, historical points of interest, the open road and meeting new people.  What an inspiring way to work into our retirement years.

If you ask if we’re budget or luxury travelers that becomes complicated. Unlike most people, we roll in various ways. It’s all part of the adventure. While may stay in a castle or hotel one week we could be staying in a campground or hostel the next.  The same goes for our modes of transportation whether it be planes, trains, boats, cruise ships, buses, RVs or cars. While we have places that have stolen our hearts our favorite places are those we haven’t visited. Our favorite food and spirits are those which haven’t crossed our tongues and our favorite bands are those we haven’t seen (and heard).

Life is all about making memories because there ain’t U-Haul behind a hearse.

If we were meant to stay in one place, we would have roots instead of feet. – Ralph Wolchin
